"I recently had a 290DS Solatube from Coastal Skylight installed in my kitchen area. My kitchen is in the middle of the house and does not get very much sunlight. I took my time to research into the types of skylight that are available and visited a few showrooms and in the end decided on the
Solatube. What a fine decision that turned out to be. Thanks to the Solatube, the kitchen now looks unbelievably bright all day long. This is in spite of the fact there is a 2.8 m gap between the roof and the ceiling above the kitchen.
Honestly, if I had a need to install another skylight in the house, I would install a Solatube without any hesitation. Based on these experiences I can confidently say that the service received from Matt at Coastal Skylights and Ventilation was the best of all. He took time to explain our lighting issues and the things in our home which contributed to our poor natural light. This helped us understand our lighting issues with which we had grappled for a long time. After Matt installed the Solatube into our kitchen there was a noticeable difference between the light pushed out of this unit and the other skylights we had had installed.
